People are leaving because of the lack of content or because they are waiting for more content to come out, it has nothing to do with RNG boxes and in all honesty why would anyone quit over an outfit?. They also have any right to do whatever they want with their version of the game, you cant just compare every single decision to other versions it just doesn't work like that
You do know Gameforge is able to lose publishing rights if Lion Games deems them to be more of a threat to the game than genuine help, right?
Currently, the greedy method of creating custom RNG lootboxes that do not apply to any other version, The lack of counteraction to the gold sellers and the lack of content, all contribute to people leaving.
-"This version has RNG for fashion? That just promotes other versions, including the illegal private server"
-"This games economy is going to shit because of the constant gold sellers, it's not at all friendly to new players so the game will inevitably die quicker than others without a constant stream of new players"
-"Meh not enough content, I'll leave temporarily and come back when more content releases.
The issue which you claimed to be the main reason people are leaving is temporary, and will be somewhat solved with the release of new content.
The other 2 issues are blatant ways Gameforge is not managing Soulworker well, and is seemingly milking their fan base with custom lootboxes.
If anything the behaviour of Gameforge towards Soulworker is what is driving away a majority of the fan base.
Additionally, even if Gameforge attempt to fix the horrible mistake they've done, Lion Games will have to deal with their name and Soulworker both being tarnished and branded as a greedy money grab, all thanks to Gameforge's actions. Their western reputation will be ultimately ruined thanks to the greedy publisher.
Hopefully CoMa's such as threea and Lady Sky are both helping getting the communities points towards the game team itself. I don't doubt that some members of the team have a passion to keep Soulworker alive, but the generalised behaviour of Gameforge is proving it hard to believeOnce again their decisions are probably (i cant confirm because im not working over there) been discussed with Lion Games and everyone that has to do with it, they wont make a move like that without confirmation of some sort. Another point that none of you actually pointed out is that they made the outfits trade-able so that you wont be forced to buy it from the RNG boxes and you can just buy it with DZ. Buying RNG boxes is your OWN decision, if you dont get what you wanted its on you and you cant blame the whole company over trying to make money. But yea i agree about the gold sellers it should be solved by now.
That's extremely flawed in a couple ways:
1: That market is so inflated that certain pieces of the set are ridiculous in price
2: No one is buying them anymore, I cannot find anyone selling the difficult pieces anymore... so it's practically impossible for me to get them.with the current event its quite easy to earn money, just try and sell your WUCs if you need DZ or keep them as currency.
Are you on NA or EN? because i see bunch of people selling it on NA everyday

WTF.
You don't go to someone who sells you sth. that is entirely based on luck/chance to later claim your money's worth back because you were 'unlucky'.
This whole argumentation is flawed and makes no sense!
You knew what you were getting into when you willingly bought these RNG boxes.
---
Anyways, I hope Gameforge knows that Soulworker was almost dying in Korea and Lion Games needs the money the official release brings in for them for further development! So, sure it would be wise to please the community one way or another.
Anyways, don't mention the p-server as a better alternative. That way you're supporting absolutely no one.
Yes, Gameforge is making money and probably not too little, but so what - they are a company! And they have employees to pay and development overseas to finance.
Could this community pls get down to earth a little. Sure, Gameforge does some shady business here and there but so far it hasn't been anything truly game-breaking.
Yet again. This is a korean/asian game. The grind is their bread and butter ... This can't be stressed enough.
Finally a smart person

You cant sell a outfit in a RNG box if all other versions sell it as normal single outfit in the store.
What is better? provide the outfit like the other versions or use lootboxes and lose 90% of your player base?
10k players down to 1k within a few months and players are leaving everyday more and more. Nobody is willed to support it, well the english version had the best audience of all 3 versions, now its one of the worst. "I wonder why"

for unknown reason i just got a 3rd beta tester package (it was free on the store and i already got 2 of them back when the game got out of the beta)

EDIT: 3 hours later , we got a persistence beta tester package now?
-
Where's Primal though

-
As much as i want them to release her already, i dont think she'll come out this week. They will probably release her next week right when the event ends
-
Are the new outfits that we get from the boxes (Sakura outfit etc) limited or is it permanent?
-
i honesty don't mind about the event but i hope its not the only thing we're gonna get anytime soon...
-
yeah it happened to me too. bought 13k sc for the first time and they refunded it. after 24 hrs its okay. hopefully yours is okay now
yea it was a 24 hours thing its working now.
-
if this is your 1st time buying 13k sc or more, it will be fix after 24hrs. based on my exp. much better if u send ticket. and there is no limit.
i usually buy the 1700 SC package but this time i bought 1700 and then 5200 (for some reason the 5200 purchase got refunded)

Hello,
For issues regarding payments only, please contact our billing support:
https://billing.gameforge.com/ (sign in through STEAM available).
Important:
1. SoulWorker is not available in the list of games for the moment. You can choose another game and specify in your ticket that your request is related to SoulWorker payments.
2. Please keep in mind that Game support cannot handle payment requests.
i already contacted them, Is there any purchase limit? because i think that's my problem right now (is it possible to fix it only once so that i could finish my order)
-
I Have been purchasing from the premium shop for the past few months and i had no problem whatsoever, yet today i have decided to buy 1700 SC and it worked just fine but then i realized i didnt had enough SC for the outfit that i wanted so i felt like buying the 5200 SC option. but right now im not getting my SC and when i try to press on the "top out soulcash" it just enters black screen and blocks me out from doing it.
Example of the black screen:

disappointment, they could easily add housing to this update and make it worth the wait. Now we're gonna get a single boss and we gotta wait for another month to HOPEFULLY get some more useful content
-
i don't want to disappoint you but we still need to get the housing at some point (and considering we just got Jin i wouldn't be surprised we'll get it next)

NA is back on, still didn't receive my rewards

[NA server] server issues - 04.04.2018
More info regarding NA server issues: we currently have problems with a DDoS attack against SoulWorker. NA server will restart again and will be unavailable for a short amount of time.
We do everything in our power to get them under control and restore normal operation as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

This is one hell of an official launch

-
I think the real issue is that a hairstyle in Canadian region costs 1850 Soulcash, and the shop gives me 1800.
Gameforge pls.
+1
-
i would have understand if it was 20$ for an hairstyle+ hair color or a full set of clothes but honesty, 20$ for a different hairstyle is just overpriced
